Life in Erinn Research Event

Researchers are always amazed by just how much Milletians get done in Erinn. Why not assist with their research and be rewarded for it? Whether it's Jousting, Exploration, Crafting, or even just good ol' fashion Combat, help research what Life in Erinn is truly like!

Event Details

Event Dates: Thursday, December 11th, After Maintenance - Thursday, January 8th, Before Maintenance

• Upon logging in, you’ll receive the quest [Guide] Life in Erinn Research: Register as Main Character.
  • As of the New Rise Update, Milletians will need to have obtained an Arcana or completed Blaanid’s Third Memoir before they will receive the guide quest.
• Locate Dafydd in Dunbarton near the Town Office and register a main character.
  
  • You’ll receive the following reward for completing the quest:
    
    • 50,000 EXP
• Upon registering, an Event Icon will appear on the Quick View Menu, allowing you access to the Event UI.
  
  • This event will also be listed in the Master Plan: New Rise Event UI with a quick summary of the event, but you are not required to be registered for Master Plan to partake in this event.

Research Tasks

Dafydd is looking to research just about everything regarding Milletians and their interaction with Erinn! He has over 100 tasks he needs help researching that you can choose from. Many of these research opportunities are things you may already regularly participate in during your time in Erinn!

• Each task rewards you with Research Points.
  • All tasks have a limit on the number of times it can be completed.
    
    • The limit resets every Erinn Day at 6:00 AM.
• Each day, you will receive the quest [Event] Life in Erinn Research: Daily Quest.
  
  • Participate in the event and claim your rewards! You’ll also receive the following reward for completing the quest:
    
    • 50,000 EXP
• The maximum amount of points you can hold caps at 500 points.
  
  • You can exceed this by researching more topics, but will not be rewarded with points beyond the 500 threshold.

Spending Research Points

Once you’ve acquired enough points, you’ll be able to roll for prizes!

• Possible rewards are divided into four ranks: S, A, B, and C. You’ll have a chance to receive each of these ranks when rolling for your prizes!
• Rewards can be received once per day, and reset at 7:00 AM PST.
• Each prize roll costs 100 points and will showcase 5 prizes with a rank (S, A, B, or C).
• If you don’t like your current rewards, you can return them and get Research Points refunded back.
  • Refunded values are based on each reward’s rank.
  • Note: You can only return Rank S returns 3 times each real life day, which reset daily at 7:00 AM PST.
• When accepting your rewards, you’ll be provided a list of your items!
• If you accept the current rewards, you cannot earn more Research Points or claim more rewards until 7:00 AM PST the following day.
