It is something that we will keep on in our hearts forever, as for me, it is a memory that strengthens my hopes and dreams. Dear Milletians, Thank you for your continued support with Mabinogi, and congratulations on 17 wonderful years! This past year we've seen so many wonderful additions to Erinn, starting with The First Chronicle update, stretching as far as introducing the new Battle and Fate Astrologer Talents. We can't forget everything in between too, like the introduction of Generation 26. Throughout it all, I am thankful to everyone. Well met, friends! These last twelve months have been an exciting time for Mabinogi. It's been years  now since I rolled out the scrolls to localize Generation 25's climactic storyline, so it  was with great anticipation and relish that our grand narrative continued at last with the debut of Generation 26! Of course, as landmark as each new chapter is, there's  been plenty more along the way: a seaside getaway on Moonlight Island, Samhain  mysteries, the Royal Institution bringing new recognition to Erinn's finest crafters,  and looking to the stars with Neal and Delaney for Astrology, our first new base  combat talent since Chain Slash. Even as the developers work hard in their ongoing efforts to rebuild Mabinogi in the  Unreal Engine, we in localization want to do our part to bring Mabinogi into the  present for you. To that end, it's my hope that our writing on G26 serves as a  standard for what you can expect from us. The development team has really put  their all into telling an engaging story that builds upon everything that has come  before while taking us to new and undiscovered frontiers, and we want to bring their vision to life for you with all the drama, comedy, and lore that entails. Of course, we  want to entertain you even in the smaller, simpler things too, whether it be quirky  event NPCs, item descriptions that bring a smile to your face, or even just welcome  polish to existing game text. I want to thank each of you—from the erudite Reading Milletians to the lovable Unga Bungas—for joining us on this journey. The world of an MMO only truly comes alive  through the experiences of its players, and Mabinogi continues to show it has one of the most colorful, sociable communities I've seen. Hi Milletians! I'm so happy to be here to celebrate the 17th anniversary with y'all! It's been another eventful year here in Erinn, what with the release of a new generation story (the first one since I've been here!), Moonlight Island, a whole new talent written in the stars, and all the events, puns, and polish we could possibly squeeze into the time in between. I hope you've enjoyed it all just as much as I enjoyed working on it!  As a member of your localization team, I spend a lot of time with each new character, so being here for the introduction of a new chapter was really special for me. I know I'll always have so much fondness for our band of misfit mercenaries from Winds of Fate. I can't wait to see the next part of their story alongside all of you.  Not to get too sappy, but one of the things that makes working on this game so great is the love Milletians have for it. From casual chats in-game with folks I passed while I (finally!) finished my gens this year, to getting to meet a few of you in person at the Mag Mell Mixer last summer, I truly treasured the time I spent with you all. Thank you for your helpful tips, your lore theories, your art and music, and--most of all--for sharing a moment or two of your fantasy life with me. Time and time again you all impress me with your fervor for this world and your constant creativity. Be it manifested in your submissions to the Royal Society of Community, your prowess in honing your combat arts, joining us all together in song, your tireless reports and detective work to aid your fellows or us at the Quality Association, or otherwise. If I know one thing, it is that Milletians are creative creatures.  As we continue to encounter anomalies in this septendecian world of ours, we strive to tackle them with understanding, totality, and sonorous swiftness! I write this looking forward to Eternity, as one team towards one dream! Happy 17th Anniversary, all you Wonderful Milletians~! For 17 years, you've filled Erinn with adventure, creativity, and unforgettable memories. It means the world to me to be exploring Mabinogi with you throughout all this time. I've learned so much through our community, and I'm glad to have shared so many moments and experiences in exchange with everyone. I will always cherish all of our silly little moments together fangirling over the many NPCs in Erinn, our fun little contests here and there, all of our giveaways, and every meme in between! I've always said that as your Community Manager, my favourite part of my role is getting to interact with all of our Milletians so personally. In the past year, I'm so beyond proud to have met and hugged so many of you at our wonderful Mabinogi Mag Mell Mixer!
