As this momentous occasion brings Milletians together, it is a time to remember how many lifetimes we’ve experienced with each passing rebirth. Take a moment… Do you remember the early morning breezy winds, or the painted blue sky and parting clouds reflecting their shapes in the Adelia Stream? What of the crackling of nearby campfires at dusk in Tir Chonaill? …It has been a long time. We have prepared some special gifts for everyone to enjoy. Hi Milletians, Happy 18th Anniversary to Mabinogi! I had the pleasure in being involved with delivering all the exciting new content to the players in the past year. Did everyone enjoy the crossover event? I know I sure did. It was fun seeing everyone dressing up and showing off their outfits with their own spin on it. Then there's the Summer Festival which always had something new to do as it went on. As we continued through the year, we closed it out with introducing Forbidden Alchemist and Arsenal Gunner Arcanas. I think I'd vibe with Micheil. I would like to thank you all for making Mabinogi and the community such a great and unique space to spend my waking hours in. I can't wait to share what we are working on next! ~ GM Novameteora

Salutations, friends It’s really been a year, hasn’t it? When I first heard about the work on Mabinogi Eternity, I wondered whether development would start tapering off as more resources were committed to the transition to Unreal Engine. As it turned out, the opposite happened: it feels like we’re busier than ever here. Last year had a lot—a big anime crossover event, the long-awaited guild rework, a massive dungeon overhaul, four new Arcana talents, and of course, our centerpiece of localization, G27. Whenever a new Generation storyline comes along, I feel like I’m receiving a performance evaluation at work from a panel of discerning critics—all of you. All of us on the Mabinogi team feel it’s important that we do good work for your sake, and for translators and editors, that assessment is weighted significantly toward how authentically we deliver the nuanced feelings and sentiments of the developers’ new storylines. It’s my hope that each of you has found some happiness in something we’ve brought you this year. The world could use a bit more of that these days. Honestly, after everything, I’m a bit tired, but I want to keep bringing you authentic, meaningful work with a human touch, and will continue doing so to the best of my ability. Happy 18, Milletians! It’s been yet another incredible year, and I’m so happy to be able to celebrate with all of you! This game has come this far, and thrived for this long, because of you—your love, support, community, and memes. Here in my comfy nest in the localization cave, I’ve been feeling particularly grateful to get to have a hand in bringing so many heartfelt, personal stories to you. From Declan and Dairine to Taise’s tale, and all the cute or sad event stories along the way, the world of Erinn feels so vibrant and lived-in. It’s an honor to be a small part of it. For me, a highlight(/something I sweat over particularly hard) this year figure out how to localize Taise’s speech quirk, since it’s so sound-based. Trying to communicate the essence of it—what it says about her character, where it comes from, how it makes her sound—when the direct translation of the words themselves don’t do it is what makes this job fun. And every time I get to hear your responses, your groans about my groan-worthy puns, your lore theories, or stories from your own experiences in the game, it makes every day I come to work all the more meaningful! Greetings, Milletians! (And a big "Woof" from my Corgi, too!) It feels like it's only been a few months since I sent my last thank-you message, but it's already been a year, apparently. That said, I must thank you for your continued support with Mabinogi once again! While everyone has their own unique way of enjoying their Fantasy Life in Erinn, I believe a lot of Milletians would agree that it’s the Milletians themselves--the people we meet in Erinn--that really make you love the time you spend in Erinn. It’s the same way for me. You, reading this note right now, are part of the very aspect of Mabinogi I love! I am grateful that I can contribute to the joy you feel in Erinn, from thinking about whether Bishop from tha Streetz is a cool name to posting secret mobile codes to decipher for some of you who listened to Loiscneach's instructions carefully. Dearest and ever-talented Milletians, please accept my deepest appreciation for your time and efforts towards keeping Erinn and elsewise an entertaining, safe, and anomaly-free land for yourself and your fellow Milletians. From your fastidious fashion dyed to the nines, your mind-boggling (or groan-worthy) glyphs, your outpours of memes, your regaling reports both in anomalies and suggestions, your art, your showers of support in trying times- I could go on. This world we weave with one another fills me with utmost sense that this story of ours is truly unlike any other, as we venture into the new. The unknown. Together. A fine day and night to you, Milletians. 18 years have come, but definitely not gone. This world wouldn't be the way it is without you and your heroics. Whenever you feel the need to rest your feet or seek adventure, always feel free to leap into this realm and seek out new friends and memories. As a GM, I'm honored to be working behind the scenes to help polish and better your experiences in this vast, breathtaking story that saw many humans, elves, and giants from another existence touch the lives of our various characters. Hello Milletians! Happy 18th anniversary! We've received so many quality of life improvements over the last year. Happy 18th Anniversary Milletians! I swear I just wrote one of these for last year, what do you mean another year has gone by!? Things may have been chaotic this past month, but no game survives for 18 years (and still going strong!) without some turbulence along the way. Take pride in all the accomplishments each and every one of you has achieved over all these years and cherish them. From defeating Glas Ghaibhleann for the first time to crafting your Soul Liberator Weapon, every memory that you make should be taken in stride and enjoyment. I love seeing the moments that Milletians post about outside of Erinn, from their newly dyed outfits to tying the knot with another Milletian. The amount of pride and pure joy each and every one of you have towards this game exceeds any other game out there, and I’m happy to be your Community Manager to watch it all unfold.
