Dear Milletians,

Hello and my sincerest gratitudes for the sunshine months ahead! I’d love to ask you, Milletian, what are you looking forward to in Erinn, generally, and beyond…!? In today’s letter, after highlighting a few details regarding recent happenings in Erinn, I will share some of the upcoming content coming to Mabinogi.

Firstly, thank you for your understanding and patience. The server issues we encountered in mid-to-late March, an unprecedented activity during our 18th Anniversary, proved challenging and tiring for the Mabinogi Team and our community. During this period, subsequent attacks forced downtime, resulting in several lengthy maintenance periods. As the issue developed, the Mabinogi team and our community observed instances of an unauthorized character in Erinn; the attacker. The continued variations of server attacks made it clear which instances were abnormal. With this confirmation of illicit play, our teams continued strongly with deeper monitoring, investigation and application of preventative methods.

The Mabinogi Team deployed a final patch and security adjustments to address these attacks on March 22nd. Attacks continued after, but were largely mitigated and prevented with exception of some lag spikes. With improved security measures and adjustments to detection and logging, we will continue to deeply review our processing and identification measures with our development team. We also want to reassure you that during this time, no personal information was breached. We will continue to focus our efforts towards prompt fixes into game vulnerabilities and a stable game service so that Mabinogi is better secured moving forward.

During the 2026 year so far, we celebrated our 18th Anniversary together! We witnessed some sweet love stories between Eunice and Ancon, appearing throughout Erinn, and were seen to be swimmingly invested together in Doki Doki Island… Shamala and Vayne received a lot of your love, and even wrote you letters of their own for our 8th annual Waifu/Husbando NPC Popularity Polls. We also received so many fun Postcards and Love Letters in Erinn written by our Community, so we are surely feeling the love for Mabinogi.

With our content updates heavily focused on adjustments and fantasy life improvements in Erinn, many of the major update changes brought improvements to areas and dungeon rewards, presenting access to set effect gear, wings, and enchants meant to provide growth. With polishing and quality adjustments being made each month, there have also been various bugs that have been quelled thanks to your reports and patience.

Following these updates, we’ll be presenting additional major content updates for you in the Summer. As there are many moving parts in game development, please note that there can be adjustments made to update schedules. We hope there will be something most enjoyable for you this next season!

• Dungeon Updates … Brí Leith: Abyss of Doubt Dungeon unlocks on May 14th!
  • If you’re up for the challenge, we have a special event that the Mabinogi Team prepared for the dungeon’s release [Community Event] Brí Leith: Abyss of Doubt Challenges. It will be open all season long! We can’t wait to see how you and your party prevails. If you have yet to challenge Bri Leith, or you’re fighting through it currently, then you may have a reason to advance further. With the dungeon update, there will be additional rewards added to Bri Leith, and the reward items from Abyss of Doubt provide both an opportunity for powering up your Murias Relics, many Enchant Scrolls, and more.

• More Story, More Lore … The Generation 28: Ruins in Twilight storyline update will be arriving June 11th!
• Arcana: “Martial Hearts” … presents two new Arcana Talent series that will unveil the Melodic Puppeteer and Blazing Brawler Arcana NPCs and their respective skills. 
  
  • In Tara, the halls of the castle illuminate the footsteps of curious ventures. What do you think Laoire and the others have been up to? Arcana vignette stories will unfold for Milletians to encounter.
• Events … Summer brings training in style with the Master Plan: Hearts & Crafts Events! The returning Fergseus Forge and Refined Armory have new selections to provide gear and opportunities for growing your character’s gear and power. There are sure to be other momentous events and occasions to achieve rewards and to enjoy the atmosphere of Mabinogi this Summer. What better way than to celebrate our Fantasy Life with a cocktail (or two…) on Connous Beach?

• NEW LIFE
  • Waiting for your next adventure into the gardens of life? An overhaul to various Fantasy Life Contents will provide new areas to unlock and collect, breathing NEW LIFE into Erinn. We’ll have plenty more information to share when this update releases later this Summer.
  • With it, a brand-new Mastery system will be introduced across Cooking, Potion Making, Tailoring, Blacksmithing, and Handicraft, presenting a range of Life and Artistry talents. Artisans will have unique access and special bonuses based on their craft, including exclusive recipes and new idle poses to show their craftsmanship aloud.  

While there are many tales to be told, we can’t reveal all secrets!
